We are freight forwarders, we act as mediators between a shipper and transportation services which might include trucking, rail transport, ocean shipping, and expedited air freight. We work with several transport partners across multiple regions, countries and continents to ship merchandise.

Consignee and Shipper

The person or company to whom goods or documents are officially sent or delivered is known as the consignee.

A shipper is the person or company who owns or oversees goods or products for transport from one location to another. Shippers are responsible for preparing shipments for carriers to transport their goods.

Manage Bookings

The customer will contact us as their chosen freight forwarder, and provide us with the details of shipment, the type and size of container, the shipping route, and the details of the cargo.

Refrigerated containers (reefers) protect and preserve the condition of the fresh produce (fruits and vegetables) and frozen foods (fish, prawn, shrimps, crabs) while they are in transit from one place to another.

Customers can reserve or make new bookings by asking us as their freight forwarders to fill in the necessary forms along the cargo descriptions and place the bookings with the shipping lines.

Yes, the supplier (seller) or the forwarder both can place the bookings with their desired shipping lines.

Yes, a new booking can be made using the description of the previous bookings.

No, once the booking or more than one booking has been placed in order, then all the bookings cannot be merged into one individual booking.

Shipping Instructions

Shipping Instruction. Shipping instructions is a document, provided by the exporter (or agent) to the carrier, containing details of the cargo to be shipped, the parties involved and the requirements for its transportation. The shipping instructions are used by the carrier to create the Bill of Lading.

Shipping Instructions can only be submitted by the supplier.

The below information should be filled in the Shipping Instruction forms.

  • Shipment number.
  • Container number.
  • Total number of packages.
  • The type of package being shipped.
  • Gross weight of the cargo.
  • Cargo description.
  • Payment terms and conditions.
  • Shippers name and address.

Bill of Lading

A legal document issued by the carrier (Transportation Company) to a shipper- seller-exporter which has the details of the type, quantity, and destination of the goods being carried.

Yes the seller can receive the Shipment Bill of Lading (SBL) given they have paid all the necessary expenses.

Yes the place of delivery for the items can be changed with the procedure called (COD: Change of Destination) to start the procedures, the necessary payments should be made to the forwarders/shipping lines, after which the Original Bill of Lading is cancelled and voided.

Yes, it is possible to switch the buyer and the seller on the new B/L documents given the older set has been destroyed.

Free Time – Demurrage- Detention

Free time refers to the length of time, a container can be stored free of charge at the port, usually seven to fourteen days.

Yes, the length of the time can be extended upon request from a freight forwarder.

Port storage free time is extendable, depending on the shipping lines, however if the port storage “free time” has exceeded than the storage fees has to be paid.

Demurrage and Detention (D&D)

Demurrage is a storage fee, that occurs after the length of Free Time has been exceeded, Demurrage prevents containers being stored at the port for a long time.

Detention is a length of the time allocated for collecting a container from a port, unloading the cargo and returning the empty container to the port.

Demurrage costs are agreed upon in advance between the ship-owners and the charterers. Usually they can be anywhere between $75 and $300 per cargo per day. Detention costs are calculated by taking the total number of days from the time the container left the port/terminal to be unpacked until it was returned. The number of free days is then subtracted, and the remaining number is multiplied by the “per diem”rate.

Booking Cancellations

Once a booking is placed or confirmed, it cannot be cancelled as the standard cancelation fees may apply.
